A triangle is a geometric figure composed of three straight line segments that connect three separate points.
In the example to the left, the triangle is drawn in black color. Its height is the length of segment BD.
Handy formulas:
Perimeter = AB + BC + AC
Area = AB*CD/2 (area = width*height/2).
